Il progetto Harpazo è stato ideato nel 2024 da due polistrumentisti quali Marc Centanni (chitarre e tastiere) e Gary Wehrkamp, membro degli Shadow Gallery e Ayreon, (voce, chitarre, tastiere, batteria e basso).
La coppia ha chiamato a sè considerevoli artisti della scena progressive metal tra cui i vocalist Michael Drive Lee (Barren Cross / Human Code), Lee Lemperle (Outside the Wall), DC Cooper (Royal Hunt), Christian Liljegren (Narnia), Les Carlsen (Bloodgood) e Rey Parra (Deny the Fallen / Sacred Warrior). I batteristi Mark Zonder (Fates Warning / Warlord) e Niklas Kah (Lord of the Lost / Flaming Row). Il tastierista Bruno Sa (Operation Mindcrime).
Tale nutrita line up ha dato vita al disco “The Crucible”. uscito il 28 giugno 2024 per Rockshots Records https://shop.rockshots.eu/en/ .
L'album, magniloquente opera prog metal futuristica con una storia distopica e tecnologica che si svolge in tre luoghi ( Roma, Gerusalemme e New York), è composta da dodici tracce per settanta minuti di musica.
